Posted in Labels: Adobe Digital School CollectionAdobe's recently announced Adobe Digital School Collection (ADSC) is a bundle of software for K-12 students and educators and is available for Windows and Mac OS.
Included in the bundle is Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
Digital Storytelling is a great way for students be be creative, develop literacy skills, and use technology to build their technology literacy.
Students can create documentary videos in history, virtual field trips, edit images to add to poems and essays, do stop motion projects for science, create multimedia language arts books and projects, and multimedia foreign language projects.
These projects are interdisciplinary and support various skills and learning styles.
The Adobe Digital School Collection is a great resource to use for Digital Storytelling. Students can use Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements to create the content and then use Acrobat to finalize it and present it. The final project can also be used as an e-portfolio.
Check out the great resources for using the ADSC in your classrooms in the Adobe Education Exchange. There are 23 lesson plans, tech guides, user guides, teacher guides, and completed examples to view. There are over 36,000 members in the community and that number continues to grow.
